Coffee Almond Milk [Vegan, Paleo, Whole 30]
Who wouldn't love a caffeine-fueled milkshake for breakfast? Best part is you can have your shake and eat it too because this one is 100 percent clean without all the refined sugar and dairy, and an extra boost of energy from the espresso! SO. GOOD.
This is not an everyday coffee, but it's definitely a great recipe to treat yourself to once in a while for something more decadent to start your day, or an afternoon pick-me-up. The flavors of the banana, almonds and coffee blend together so beautifully, you'll be amazed how good it is! Enjoy.
Ingredients:
1/2 frozen banana
5 oz. creamy almond milk
Doubleshot of espresso (if sensitive, can add just one)
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 date or 1 teaspoon date syrup/maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2-3 ice cubes
Pinch of Pink Himalayan salt
Directions:
Blend all ingredients in blender until frothy and creamy. Serve immediately.
